No KU football players taken in NFL draft
No Kansas football players were taken in the NFL draft, but a few Jayhawks will be getting an opportunity at the next level.
Running back De’Andre Mann signed with the Atlanta Falcons on Saturday night, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reported. Mann, a junior-college transfer, was KU’s second-leading rusher a year ago with 387 yards and a 5.1-yard-per-carry average.
Also, running back Taylor Cox has been invited to Dallas Cowboys camp, while offensive lineman Larry Mazyck will be attending free-agent tryout camp with the Houston Texans. Neither of those transactions were confirmed by the teams as of late Saturday night.
