Kansas and Nebraska have agreed to play a two-year men’s basketball series that will begin in Lawrence next season with the return game in Lincoln during the 2017-18 season.

KU will play host to Nebraska at Allen Fieldhouse on Dec. 10 with the return game at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln on Dec. 16, 2017.

The Jayhawks and Cornhuskers met annually as conference members for more than a century until Nebraska joined the Big Ten after the 2010 season. KU's last game at Nebraska was in the Huskers' old basketball arena, the Devaney Center.

In other scheduling news, Kansas is scheduled to be part of the 2016 CBE Classic at the Sprint Center along with Georgia, George Washington and Alabama-Birmingham.

Also, KU’s 2017-18 schedule is expected to include a game against Syracuse in Miami.
