Kansas basketball’s trip to Iowa State will include ESPN ‘GameDay’ festivities
When the Kansas basketball program visits Iowa State on Jan. 17, Hilton Coliseum will be the center of the college basketball world — at least for a few hours.
ESPN’s “College GameDay” crew will be in town to broadcast from Ames, Iowa, bringing its usual circus of shows and pregame material. The game between the two Big 12 contenders will tip off at 8 p.m., ESPN and the Big 12 announced on Tuesday.
The selection of Iowa State is part of ESPN’s new flexible schedule for its “GameDay“ sites, which is being used for the first time this season. Other Big 12 schools, including Kansas, could be considered to hold the show later in the 2014-15 season.
