Kansas’ lopsided loss to Temple cost the Jayhawks a top 10 ranking.

KU fell to No. 13 in The Associated Press poll and No. 14 in the USA Today coaches’ poll released on Monday.

Kansas, 9-2, hasn’t played since falling 77-52 at Temple on Dec. 22. The Jayhawks were ranked 10th in both polls each of the previous three weeks.

Six Big 12 teams are ranked, led by Iowa State, ninth in both polls. In the AP poll, Texas is 11th, West Virginia 17th, Oklahoma 18th and Baylor 22nd.

Wichita State, which lost to George Washington in Hawaii on Christmas, dropped five spots to No. 16. The loss ended the Shockers’ streak of 41 straight victories over unranked opponents.

Top-ranked Kentucky received all 65 first-place votes in the AP poll and all but one in the coaches’ poll. Duke also received a first-place vote in the coaches’ poll.
