One of the top recruits in the 2016 class was inside Allen Fieldhouse on Friday.

Thon Maker, a 7-footer, watched Friday's victory from behind the KU bench while on an unofficial visit.

Maker was formerly a top-10 recruit in the class of 2015 before deciding to wait a year to attend college. Maker is thought to be heavily considering Arizona State, among others.

Blake Harris, a top point guard in the 2017 class, was also at Allen Fieldhouse.

Three key numbers for KU’s 109-72 win over Northern Colorado

15: The Jayhawks hit 15 three-pointers in their season opener

46: Kansas' bench finished with 46 points, including 18 from Brannen Greene

43: For the 43rd straight year, the Jayhawks won their season opener at Allen Fieldhouse
