KU football begins 2026 with a unique schedule. Here are game times & TV info

With the start of the 2026 Kansas football season just 100 days away, the Big 12 Conference revealed KU’s first three game times and TV designations on Wednesday.

The Jayhawks will start their season on Friday, Sept. 4, at 7 p.m. Central against Long Island at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium. That game will be shown on ESPNU.

The next week, the Jayhawks will host rival Missouri for a Border War matchup on national television on Friday, Sept. 11. That game has a 7 p.m. kickoff time on FOX and will be the first in Lawrence between the two teams since 2005.

The following week, KU goes international: The Jayhawks will play the first-ever college football game at Wembley Stadium in the Union Jack Classic on Saturday, Sept. 19, at 11 a.m. Central, with a broadcast on FS1. The opponent for that game will be Arizona State.

The game will be a home game for Kansas and its first-ever international game.
