Former University of Kansas men’s basketball guard Devonte’ Graham has signed a contract to play for Crvena Zvezda in Serbia, the team announced Friday on social media site X.

Terms of the deal were not announced. It has been speculated the deal is for one season with an out clause if an NBA team wishes to sign him.

This marks Graham’s first time playing overseas. Graham, a second-round pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, averaged 18.2 points and 7.5 assists in his second NBA season with Charlotte (2019-20). He was traded to New Orleans in 2021 and San Antonio in 2023.

The Spurs traded Graham to Charlotte last summer, along with a second-round draft pick. The Hornets cut Graham the same day.

In all, he has played six seasons in the NBA .The point guard appeared in 336 NBA games, with 171 starts. He has averaged 11.1 points and 4.3 assists across his career. At KU he averaged 17.3 points and 7.2 assists a game his senior year (2017-18).
