Former University of Kansas guard Zeke Mayo announced on social media Friday that he has signed with the Washington Wizards.

The Lawrence native played his senior season with the Jayhawks, previously playing three seasons at South Dakota State. He averaged 14.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.9 assists last season. He shot 42% on 3-pointers as a Jayhawk.

The 6-foot-4, 185-pound guard earned spots on the All-Big 12 Third Team and Big 12 All-Newcomer team for his play. With Jackrabbits, he was named Summit League Player of the Year in 2024.

According to Rookie Wire, Mayo had individual workouts with the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs.
