Kansas men’s basketball team to play four ESPN ‘Big Monday’ games in 2016

The Big 12 and ESPN announced their “Big Monday” men’s basketball schedule, and Kansas will make four appearances for the 10th straight season.

The Jayhawks will open the “Big Monday” schedule against Oklahoma at 8 p.m. Jan. 4 in Allen Fieldhouse. KU also plays at Iowa State on Jan. 25, vs. Oklahoma State on Feb. 15 and at Texas on Feb. 29, the final Big Monday game.

Iowa State, Oklahoma and Texas will make three appearances this season. Kansas State was not selected for a “Big Monday” game.

The schedule (All games at 8 p.m. on ESPN):

▪ Jan. 4: Oklahoma at Kansas

▪ Jan. 18: Oklahoma at Iowa State

▪ Jan. 25: Kansas at Iowa State

▪ Feb. 1: Texas at Baylor

▪ Feb. 8: Texas at Oklahoma

▪ Feb. 15: Oklahoma State at Kansas

▪ Feb. 22: Iowa State at West Virginia

▪ Feb. 29: Kansas at Texas
