How can Kansas football upset the Oklahoma Sooners? Former Jayhawk QB breaks it down

The Kansas Jayhawks play arguably their toughest opponent of the season in No. 6 Oklahoma (7-0, 4-0 Big 12) on Saturday.

How do the Jayhawks pull off an upset? Well, it starts with improving on fourth down. Kansas ranks No. 129 in the nation in converting fourth downs (1-for-8).

In this week’s breakdown, a two-parter, KU beat writer Shreyas Laddha and former Kansas quarterback Carter Stanley look at film of what’s gone wrong for Kansas on fourth downs — plus a concept the Jayhawks might use moving forward.

Then, in part two, we look at what KU needs to do on offense and defense to upset Oklahoma.
