One week after hiring his final assistant, new Kansas women’s basketball coach Brandon Schneider officially announced three more additions to his staff.

Andy Majors, an assistant under Schneider at Stephen F. Austin and Emporia State, will join the KU program as the director of player development. Donease Smith, who spent the last six years at Memphis, will assume the role of director of basketball operations. And Natalie Knight, a former Kansas player and Olathe South standout, will remain with the program as a graduate student manager.

Majors, a graduate of Shawnee Mission West, is a former quarterback at Pittsburg State, while Smith, a graduate of Central Missouri, also worked in the WNBA during a long career that included some stints around Kansas City.

Schneider previously announced the hiring of assistant coaches Aqua Franklin, Katie O’Connor and Damitria Buchanan.
