ABOUT KANSAS (9-2): KU leads the all-time series, 9-3, including last season’s 89-74 victory at Allen Fieldhouse. The Cardinal has won two of the last three meetings. Stanford defeated Kansas, 60-57, on March 23, 2014, in St. Louis, advancing to the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16. … Stanford returns to Lawrence on Dec. 1, 2018 and hosts the Jayhawks at Maples Pavilion on Stanford’s campus on Dec. 29, 2019. … KU senior Devonté Graham is two points shy (1,262) from tying Stanford coach Jerod Haase on Kansas’ career scoring chart. Haase currently is No. 33. … Graham has hit four or more threes five times in the last six games. In that six-game span, he shot 27 of 51 (52.9 percent) from beyond the arc. … Kansas is scoring 88.6 points per game. The last KU team to average that many points was the 2001-02 Final Four team at 90.9 points per game and the previous before that was the 1989-90 team at 92.1. … KU will be playing in its third NBA arena Thursday.
