▪ WHEN/WHERE: 6 p.m. Wednesday at WVU Coliseum in Morgantown, W.Va.

▪ TV/RADIO: ESPNU; WHB (810 AM)

▪ ABOUT KANSAS STATE (12-12, 5-6 Big 12): The Wildcats have lost four in a row for the first time since 2009. Two of those losses were without Marcus Foster and Malek Harris, who are expected to also miss this game before returning for Saturday’s game against Oklahoma. K-State will hope the healthy presence of senior forward Nino Williams can help against West Virginia. He had a hot start against the Mountaineers in Manhattan but missed the entire second half because of a knee injury. Tre Harris should once again play an important role as a three-point shooter after hitting seven outside shots in his past two games.

▪ ABOUT WEST VIRGINIA (18-5, 6-4 Big 12): The Mountaineers are coming off their worst two-game stretch of the season. After winning three in a row, they have now lost back-to-back games by nearly 20 points. First came a 71-52 setback at Oklahoma. Then it was an 87-69 home loss to Baylor. West Virginia’s press did little against those deep, athletic teams. It hopes it can wear down K-State’s short-handed lineup at home. Staten remains one of the conference’s top guards, averaging nearly 15 points.
