K-State’s Allison Dorau is Big 12’s top scholar-athlete for rowing

Kansas State senior Allison Dorau has been chosen Big 12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year for women’s rowing, the conference announced Thursday.

Dorau, who attended Shawnee Mission West, carries a 3.91 GPA in elementary education studies and was a mainstay on the Wildcats’ 1st Varsity 8, helping them to program-best finishes at the Big 12 and Conference USA championships.
