▪ WHEN/WHERE: 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman, Okla.

▪ ABOUT KANSAS STATE (10-4, 0-2 Big 12): The Wildcats are hoping win their first conference game and end a two-game skid. They played West Virginia and Texas close in their last two games, but lost in the final moments of both. Coach Bruce Weber is putting pressure on Wade to do more offensively. Wade’s scoring has steadily dropped since the season began.

▪ ABOUT OKLAHOMA (12-1, 1-1 Big 12): The Sooners lost their first game of the season Monday, but oddly received more credit for the defeat than they did their previous 12 victories. Hield and Oklahoma have been on center stage since losing 109-106 in triple overtime at Kansas, with Hield scoring 46 points. Coach Lon Kruger said he is wary of an emotional hangover, saying the key to winning in the Big 12 is moving on from hard-fought games regardless of the outcome.
