K-State to face three SEC basketball teams in non-conference
A Maui Classic appearance, an SEC-Big 12 Challenge game at Tennessee and a Sprint Center game against Texas A&M highlight the Kansas State men’s basketball non-conference schedule announced Monday.
After a Nov. 9 exhibition against Washburn, K-State plays host to Southern Utah in the regular-season opener Nov. 14. A Nov. 17 home game against UMKC is followed by a Nov. 21 game at Long Beach State, which is a stopover for the Wildcats on the way to Maui for the Thanksgiving Week tournament. Also in the field are Arizona, San Diego State, BYU, Pittsburgh, Missouri, Purdue and host Chaminade. Games are Nov. 24-26.
Georgia is the highlight of the seven Bramlage Coliseum games, as the Bulldogs visit on Dec. 31.
