▪ ABOUT KANSAS STATE (7-1): The Wildcats will take on their third Southeastern Conference opponent and they’ll face another next month: Mississippi. K-State won its first two games against SEC teams by clobbering Missouri and hitting a last-second shot against Georgia. Stephen Hurt is coming off one of his better games, in which he showed a nice touch from the outside. Reserve forward D.J. Johnson may be limited because of an injured thumb.
▪ ABOUT TEXAS A&M (7-2): The Aggies have won seven games against a difficult schedule that has included games against Texas, Gonzaga, Syracuse and Arizona State. Texas A&M features four seniors in its starting lineup and has quality depth off the bench. K-State defeated Texas A&M last season at the Sprint Center behind a strong game from Wesley Iwundu.
