Kansas State working on extension for volleyball coach Suzie Fritz
Kansas State athletic director John Currie says the school is working on a contract extension for volleyball coach Suzie Fritz.
Fritz has led the Wildcats’ volleyball team since 2001, winning 295 games and making 11 NCAA Tournaments. K-State is coming off a 17-win campaign in which it posted a winning conference record without a single senior on the roster.
The season ended with a loss to Wichita State in the NCAA Tournament.
Currie said he is proud of the work Fritz has put in and is eager to see what she can do next season, and beyond, with a young team returning.
“She has done a tremendous job,” Currie said. “We look forward to her continued success with the K-State volleyball team.”
