▪ ABOUT KANSAS STATE (2-0): The Wildcats have looked better than expected so far, thumping Maryland-Eastern Shore and Columbia by double digits. Expect more of the same against South Dakota. Iwundu and Edwards lead K-State in scoring, and look like different players than they did a year ago, when neither player averaged even seven points.
▪ ABOUT SOUTH DAKOTA (1-2): South Dakota won its first game Cal State Northridge earlier this week. South Dakota has some dynamic scorers, led by Burnette and Kasperbauer. When they are on, they can both top 20 points.
