Ailing Wildcats

Kansas State once again was not at full strength on Friday in its 98-68 win over Southern Utah. Just like an exhibition game against Washburn, the Wildcats were without three contributors. Wesley Iwundu, Malek Harris and Nino Williams all watched from the bench because of minor injuries.

Iwundu, a sophomore forward, and Harris, a freshman forward, dressed and were available to play in case of emergency, while Williams, a senior forward, wore sweats. Bruce Weber said he expects Iwundu back soon, possibly for the UMKC game Monday. But Harris and Williams may require more rest.
