Tyler Lockett moves up on Kansas State’s all-time receiving list
Senior receiver Tyler Lockett continued his assault on the Kansas State record books by catching six passes for 94 yards and one touchdown against Oklahoma State.
Lockett passed Jordy Nelson for second in receiving yards on the school’s all-time list and tied Quincy Morgan for second in touchdown receptions.
He trails only his father, Kevin, in both categories. With 2,877 career yards and 23 touchdowns, Lockett needs 156 more yards and four touchdowns to pass his father
▪ Former Kansas State golfer Robert Streb was honored during a break in action. Streb is playing the best golf of his career, coming off a win at The McGladrey Classic. The victory qualified him for The Masters.
▪ Five bowl representatives were in attendance for Saturday’s game, including two from the Sugar Bowl. The other represented the Florida Citrus Bowl, Russell Athletics Bowl and the Alamo Bowl. Other special guests at the game included scouts with the Atlanta Falcons and Minnesota Vikings.
