Kansas State football will lose 4-star freshman to the transfer portal: Report

After enrolling at Kansas State this January, incoming freshman safety Noah King has already entered the transfer portal.

King, a four-star safety from Cincinnati, Ohio, was part of Chris Klieman’s successful 2025 recruiting class. But according to several media reports on Thursday afternoon, King will be looking for a new home before ever putting on a K-State uniform.

He was rated as the 216th-best player in the class of 2025 and the 26th-best cornerback by 247Sports. King was also the first K-State signee from Ohio since 2004.

King originally chose K-State over Kentucky, Nebraska, West Virginia and several other schools.
