Football fans hoping to watch both Kansas and K-State on the opening week of Big 12 play this season are going to be in for a long day.
The Kansas Jayhawks will get things started when they head to West Virginia to play the Mountaineers at 11 a.m. on Sept. 21. ESPN2 will televise the action.
The K-State Wildcats, meanwhile, will be heading to BYU for a late kickoff against the Cougars. That game is set to start at 9:30 p.m. and won’t end until early Sunday morning. ESPN will broadcast the game.
K-State is off to a 2-0 start to the season and is coming off a 34-27 victory at Tulane. KU is 1-1 and is coming off a frustrating loss to Illinois.
