Kansas State Wildcats will host Baylor Bears at unusual kickoff time on senior day
Kansas State fans will get to experience something new when the Wildcats host Baylor on Saturday, Nov. 20 at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.
They will watch the Wildcats play a football game starting at 4:30 p.m.
The Big 12 announced the unusual kickoff time for Baylor at K-State on Monday. The game will be televised nationally on Fox Sports 1.
Big 12 football games are usually played during traditional Saturday kickoff times at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. When Big 12 games are streamed online instead of televised, the home team can choose to play at a different time. But it is rare for a televised game to end up outside those windows.
It is unclear why FS1 selected this game for a different start time.
In any case, K-State will hold its senior day festivities in the late afternoon.
The Kansas Jayhawks will also play at an unusual time that day. TCU will host KU at 3 p.m. in a game that will be streamed on ESPN+.
