K-State football unveils ticket options for 2020 season. Here’s what you need to know

One day after Kansas State announced plans to fill Bill Snyder Family Stadium at 25% capacity during the upcoming football season, the Wildcats unveiled ticket options that will allow all of their season-ticket holders to attend multiple home games.

Based on Ahearn Fund priority, fans can purchase up to two tickets per account one of the following mini season-ticket options:

  • Three-game plan: Arkansas State, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State
  • Two-game plan: Kansas and Texas

Both ticket plans have the same cost. The seating options for both plans include midfield ($360), red zone ($300), end zone ($225) and upper deck ($150) on a sliding price scale. Each account can add a parking pass for the east or west lot around the football stadium for $50, which includes all games in the selected package.

All tickets and parking passes will be digital. The deadline to purchase tickets and parking passes is 5 p.m. on Aug. 26.

Premium seating areas will remain as a season ticket for the upcoming season. Club-level seats will be distributed at reduced capacity following the purchase deadline.

K-State will also allow students to attend games this season. The university said any student that purchased a student pass Student passes will remain a season-long pass for 2020. All K-State students who purchased a season pass prior to the July 31 deadline will have a ticket for all five of K-State’s home games.

“Our staff has worked extremely hard in determining the best ticket options for our season ticket holders,” K-State athletic director Gene Taylor said in a statement. “We understand that this season is unlike any other we have ever experienced, but we are going to make Bill Snyder Family Stadium as safe as possible for those who attend.”

K-State is scheduled to begin its season at home on Sept. 12 against Arkansas State.

Any fan attending games this season will need to follow enhanced safety protocol because of the coronavirus pandemic. Those safety measures include wearing face coverings inside the football stadium and socially distancing from other fans. K-State has also outlawed tailgating at university parking lots and eliminated all re-entry at its games.
