The Kansas State basketball team added size to its future lineups Saturday.
Dante Williams, a 6-foot-10 center from Arlington, Texas, verbally committed to the Wildcats, choosing K-State over Houston, Purdue, TCU, Vanderbilt and others. His mother confirmed the commitment via text message.
Williams took an official visit to K-State two weeks ago. After watching K-State win its opening football game against Stephen F. Austin and thinking about his options, he decided to play for the Wildcats. Williams is a three-star recruit, according to Rivals.
He is the fourth known member of K-State’s 2015 recruiting class, joining St. John forward Dean Wade, point guard Barry Brown and forward Eric Cobb.
