Mill Valley offensive lineman Evan Applegate picks Kansas State
Mill Valley offensive lineman Evan Applegate announced via Twitter on Friday that he will play at Kansas State next year.
Applegate, a 6-foot-7, 285-pound senior left tackle, helped Mill Valley to a 10-1 record last season, which included an undefeated run through the regular season. He was chosen first team All-Kaw Valley League.
Rivals.com has Applegate listed at a three-star recruit and the No. 7 prospect in Kansas. He had received offers from Kansas, Arkansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, Oklahoma State and Northern Illinois among others, according to Rivals.
He is the Wildcats’ second offensive line commitment from Kansas, joining Lawrence Free State’s Scott Frantz.
