▪ ABOUT WEST VIRGINIA (25-7): The Mountaineers won their first Big 12 Tournament game in four tries Thursday, beating TCU 86-66. The victory was coach Bob Huggins’ 200th at West Virginia. Devin Williams grabbed 13 rebounds against TCU, moving into 12th place on the school’s career list.
▪ ABOUT OKLAHOMA (25-6): The Sooners entered Thursday’s game against Iowa State ranking second in the country in three-point shooting at 43 percent. Big 12 player of the year Buddy Hield was presented with his trophy by the conference before the game Thursday. The Sooners swept both regular-season games against West Virginia.
