Kansas State was picked to finish third in the Big 12 football race this season, according to a media poll released by the conference Thursday morning. Kansas was picked last, in 10th place.

Oklahoma received 47 of 56 first-place votes to claim the top spot in the poll. Baylor, the defending league champion, got the other nine first-place votes to sit in second.

K-State was one point ahead of Texas for third, followed by Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, TCU, West Virginia, Iowa State and KU.
