Limited Big 12 Tournament tickets will go on sale

A limited number of all-session tickets will go on sale for the 2016 Big 12 men’s basketball tournament, which runs March 9-12 at the Sprint Center.

There will be a presale on Monday, Feb. 1, which is limited to those selected during a registration period from noon Central through 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 26. Presale registration will be conducted at SprintCenter.com.

Those who are selected will be notified by Friday, Jan. 29 via email and given instructions on how to buy presale tickets through SprintCenter.com, while supplies last. There also will be a limited amount of tickets available to the general public in an online sale starting at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2.

Purchasers will be limited to four all-session tickets, which include the same seat location for all five sessions of the tournament — the 6 and 8 p.m. first-round games on Wednesday, March 9; the 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. quarterfinals on Thursday, March 10; the 6 and 8 p.m. quarterfinals on the 10th; the 6 and 8 p.m. semifinals on Friday, March 11; and the 5 p.m. championship game on Saturday, March 12.

This year’s event will be the 15th Big 12 Tournament in Kansas City.
