KCK Community College women’s basketball team receives national championship rings

The Kansas City Kansas Community College women’s basketball team received its 2016 NJCAA Division II championship rings Wednesday.

The Blue Devils finished 33-3, upsetting No. 1 and unbeaten Johnson County for the Region VI championship and a spot in the national tournament. Once there, they won four in a row, capped by an 81-59 victory over Illinois Central for the title.

The rings feature each player’s name, the team’s 33-3 record and the Blue Devils logo.
