Kansas remains No. 2 in AP college basketball poll

Kansas remained No. 2 in the Associated Press’ college basketball poll Monday, trailing Michigan State.

The Jayhawks, 10-1, received one first-place vote, with the other 64 going to the Spartans, 13-0, who beat KU in the Champions Classic this season.

Other Big 12 teams ranked are Oklahoma at No. 3, Iowa State at No. 11, West Virginia at No. 19 and Baylor at No. 23. The Southeastern Conference placed Kentucky at No. 10 and Texas A&M at No. 20.
