▪ ABOUT MISSOURI (2-1): The Tigers won their first two games at home and suffered their only loss on the road to Xavier. Clark, Puryear and Wright all average 10 points or more. Kim Anderson is in his second year as coach with Missouri.
▪ ABOUT K-STATE (3-0): The Wildcats won their first three games in convincing fashion, averaging nearly 85 points along the way. Edwards and Iwundu have been K-State’s top two scorers, but Wade and Brown have been good, as well. Stokes is averaging four assists as a first-year point guard.
