Central Missouri woman wins track title

Central Missouri’s Heavin Warner won the women’s hammer throw with a toss of 207 feet at the the NCAA Division II Track and Field Championship in Allendale, Mich.

Four athletes from Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association schools earned All-America status: Steven Mann, Pittsburg State, fourth in the men’s long jump; Orneldo Thomas, Lincoln, seventh, men’s long jump; Antqunita Reed, Pittsburg State, third, women’s long jump; and Jessica Macy, Pittsburg State, fourth, 10,000 meters.
