Central Missouri softball team advances to Division II World Series

The Central Missouri softball team is headed to NCAA Division-II World Series.

Central Missouri beat Augustana (S.D.) 2-1 on Saturday for a sweep over Augustana in the Sioux Falls, S.D. regional.

It will be Central Missouri’s first appearance in the D-II World Series since 1994.

Central Missouri, 49-14, will play its opening game on Thursday in Oklahoma City.

Central Missouri got all of the offense in needed on Saturday from solo home runs by Lauren Maby and Carlie Rose.
