Central Missouri reaches NCAA Division II semifinals in women’s soccer

The top-ranked Central Missouri women’s soccer team is on its way to the first final four in the program’s history.

The Jennies (24-0) reached the national semifinals with a 3-1 win over Grand Valley State (Mich.) on Sunday in Warrensburg, Mo. Central Missouri will play Mercy (N.Y.) on Nov. 30 at Swope Soccer Village.

Central Missouri’s Makayla Toth scored on a pass from Jada Scott in the 19th minute, and Scott scored on a pass from Toth in the 70th minute.

After the Lakers scored on a penalty kick in the 78th minute, the Jennies’ Abby Rhoades finished the scoring with a goal in the 82nd minute.
