The Week Ahead: Events for the week of July 21
Tuesday
SEC BLOCK PARTY: The third annual event will start at 4 p.m. and has moved to the Kansas City Live! Block of the Power & Light District, with McFadden’s as the host bar. Steven St. John of WHB (810 AM) will emcee the event, which will have videos of all 14 conference schools and a raffle for tickets to the football championship game in Atlanta. Fans are encouraged to wear their schools’ colors.
T-BONES: The first 2,000 adult fans for the T-Bones 7:05 p.m. game against Grand Prairie will receive a free replica T-Bones adult jersey; tbonesbaseball.com.
Wednesday
T-BONES: On National Hot Dog Day the team will sell 50-cent hot dogs and there will be a special appearance by Professional Competitive Eater Jamie “The Bear” McDonald for the 7:05 p.m. game against Grand Prairie; tbonesbaseball.com.

LEGENDS LUNCHEON: Royals Hall of Famer Frank White will be the guest at the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum’s Legends Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. The monthly lunch series has Willie Wilson and Al Fitzmorris as hosts and is held at the Bruce Watkins Cultural Center, 3700 Blue Parkway.
