Missouri Mavericks release 2016-2017 schedule

The Missouri Mavericks released their 2016-2017 schedule on Thursday.

The Mavericks’ 72-game regular-season schedule will start on Oct. 15 on the road in Allen, Texas. Seven of the Mavericks’ first eight games will be on the road. Their home opener during that stretch is scheduled for Oct. 22 at Silverstein Eye Centers Arena, where the opponent will be the Indy Fuel.

First-time matchups against the Orlando Solar Bears, Florida Everblades, and Utah Grizzlies highlight the Mavericks’ eighth season. The Mavericks will travel to Utah and Cincinnati for the first time in franchise history, and the Alaska Aces, Toledo Walleye, Utah Grizzlies, Fort Wayne Komets and Idaho Steelheads will make their debuts at Silverstein Eye Centers Arena.

A highlight of the home schedule will be nine games at Silverstein Eye Centers Arena between Jan. 21, 2017, through Feb. 7.
