FIFA World Cup 2026 stadiums: USA, Mexico, and Canada venues

After 1994, the United States is once again hosting the Football World Cup. It is the first World Cup hosted by more than two countries and also the first to feature 48 teams. Mercedes-Benz Stadium/Atlanta Stadium

Atlanta Stadium will host eight matches at the 2026 World Cup, including five Group Stage games, one Round of 32, one Round of 16, and one Semifinal match. The stadium also hosted five FIFA Club World Cup matches in 2025.

As part of the 2026 World Cup, the stadium's seating capacity will be increased to 45,736, which is 17,756 additional seats. The Toronto Stadium will also host the opening match for the Canadian national team against Bosnia & Herzegovina on Friday, June 12, 2026.

The stadium is a stunning piece of architecture and is the home of the MLS team, Vancouver Whitecaps. BC Place Vancouver is also no stranger to major international sporting events. The stadium has previously hosted the 2010 Winter Olympics and the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup.
