Caitlin Clark Sends Strong Message About Fever Rookie Raven Johnson
Caitlin Clark and Raven Johnson had several battles during their college careers at Iowa and South Carolina, but now they are teammates on the Indiana Fever and appear to be building strong chemistry together.
Indiana currently sits at 4-2 overall, with Clark appearing in five of those six games while averaging 23.8 points, 9.0 assists, and 4.4 rebounds per game.
Johnson, meanwhile, has not provided a ton offensively, but she has become an energy spark defensively, and Clark has taken notice of the impact she made - especially over the last two games, where Johnson scored nine and seven points off the bench after going scoreless in the previous three contests.

"She brings the energy every single day and it best replicates itself when she's playing defense," Clark said. "She's tenacious, she's fiery, she's competitive. Whatever the coaches ask her, she's going to do and has been doing it really well.
"She's been doing it very well, she's been learning a lot and she asks a lot of really great questions, so I think just the positive vibes that she's brought in here has been a very fun addition for us. Super proud of her and it's been cool to see… She gave us really big minutes in the fourth against the Golden State Valkyries, so we'll continue to need more of that."
Johnson is averaging 12.5 minutes per game, and as long as she continues to provide defensive energy and serve as a spark off the bench, Stephanie White will have little reason not to keep her in the rotation - and potentially even increase her minutes on a guard-heavy Indiana Fever roster as the season progresses.
