Madison Square Garden Forced To Reschedule Concert As Knicks Make NBA Finals

The New York Knicks have been so far from NBA title contention for so many years that Madison Square Garden has had no trouble scheduling concerts and other events for various key postseason dates. So with the Knicks returning to the Finals for the first time in 27 years, MSG has had to make a quick change to the schedule.

On Tuesday, following the Knicks' Eastern Conference Finals-sealing Game 4 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, MSG announced that a performance by Contemporary Christian musician Forrest Frank would be rescheduled. Rather than having him perform on Wednesday, June 10th (which will be Game 4 of the NBA Finals at MSG), his performance is instead moving to Thursday, June 11th.

"Due to a New York Knicks NBA Finals game, the Forrest Frank performance originally scheduled to take place at The Garden on (Wednesday), June 10 has been rescheduled to (Thursday), June 11.

"Tickets will be valid for the new show date and will not need to be exchanged."

Forrest Frank vs. the NBA

Forrest Frank has been a rising star in the Contemporary Christian music scene. He's been nominated for three Grammys since 2025.

Unfortunately for Frank and his fans, Knicks fans laughed at the idea that anyone would rather have seen him perform at the Garden than their team and started dismissing him as a non-entity.

"Who??????" one user asked mockingly.

"I'm sure all 12 of Forrest Frank fans will be okay," joked another.

"Who tf scheduled this?" wrote a third.

"Someone named Forest Frank was able to book The Garden?"

The disrespect to Forrest Frank aside, the Knicks are in pretty unfamiliar territory and most fans are just happy to be in a position where the team is so deep that it has push off other events just to make room for their NBA title run.

And with the way Jalen Brunson and the Knicks have been playing lately, anything and everything feels possible.
