Timothee Chalamet Celebrates With Kylie Jenner as Knicks End 27-Year Finals Drought

Timothée Chalamet finally got his dream New York Knicks moment, and Kylie Jenner was right there with him for it. The lifelong Knicks fan has been a regular courtside presence throughout the playoff run, cheering on his childhood team as they pushed toward history.

Now, after the Knicks reached the NBA Finals for the first time in 27 years, Chalamet's celebration said everything. He was only three years old the last time New York got this far, so watching him go wild with the players and share the moment with Jenner made the scene even more memorable.

In the videos now going viral on Twitter, Chalamet looks completely overwhelmed by the moment.

He is seen celebrating with Karl-Anthony Towns, Jalen Brunson, and other Knicks players, still trying to process that his team had actually reached the NBA Finals. At one point, he joins in MVP chants for Jalen Brunson who was unanimously voted the MVP for the conference finals.

Knicks' Finals Run Was a Project Years in the Making

The Knicks reaching the NBA Finals feels surreal, but it was not some random hot streak.

For once, New York built this the right way. The franchise that spent years chasing shortcuts finally showed patience, timing, and discipline. Instead of throwing away assets too early, the front office waited for the right moments and trusted the direction it was building.

Jalen Brunson became the center of that shift. When he first arrived, plenty of people questioned whether he could really be the lead guy for a team with championship hopes. That debate is long gone now. Brunson has turned into the heartbeat of the Knicks, the player everyone follows, and the reason this whole thing works.

The moves around him mattered just as much. New York added toughness, defense, shooting, and versatility without losing its identity. Josh Hart, OG Anunoby, Mikal Bridges, and Karl-Anthony Towns all gave the roster different layers, turning the Knicks from a fun playoff team into a real Finals threat.

That is what makes this run feel different from past Knicks hype. It was not built on one desperate trade or one flashy name. It was built piece by piece.

Now, after sweeping Cleveland, the Knicks are back on the biggest stage for the first time in 27 years, and the city finally has a team that looks ready for the moment.
