Alex Caruso Shoved NBC's Cameraman Out Of Thunder's Huddle

Game 1 of the 2026 Western Conference Finals came down to the wire, with the San Antonio Spurs ultimately topping the Oklahoma City Thunder to take a 1-0 series lead.

Victor Wembanyama led the way for San Antonio, putting on a historic performance. The third-year NBA star had 41 points and 26 rebounds in the Game 1 victory. He played 49 minutes in the double-overtime contest.

The Thunder, who won last season's NBA championship, will need to come from behind to take this series.

Amid the loss, Thunder guard Alex Caruso is under fire for his treatment of an NBC cameraman. At the end of regulation, Caruso shoved NBC's cameraman out of the Thunder's bench area.

He wasn't happy.

The Thunder are more than happy to have the cameras around when they are winning and celebrating, NBA fans claim.

NBA fans are critical of Caruso's treatment of the camera operator.

Fans criticize Caruso for his camera treatment

NBA fans are being critical of Caruso and his behavior.

"Caruso's ego has reached new heights the last few weeks," one wrote.

"That's high key rude imo, camera man's just doing his job," one fan added.

"Now all of a sudden they don't want cameras in their faces. Corny franchise," one fan added.

"He should keep that same energy like he did against the Suns when he told the refs to call a technical on Booker, by asking to be given a technical to himself," one fan added.

"Caruso has legit become insufferable," another fan added.

"I'm sure that's a big fine because the NBA has to right to film everything. It's why you never see that happen anywhere else to any other team," one fan added.

It will be interesting to see if Caruso faces a fine from the NBA.

Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals is set for Wednesday night. Tipoff is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. E.T.
