Tom Brady Accused Of 'Crossing The Line' With Netflix Roast Joke
Did Tom Brady go too far with his joke about Kevin Hart's marriage during his Netflix roast on Sunday evening?
Netflix aired a Roast of Kevin Hart as part of its month of comedy on Sunday evening. Few things, if any, were held back. Brady, who was previously the subject of his own roast, was among the first people to speak on Sunday evening.
Brady, a seven-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback, was accused of "crossing the line" with a joke about Hart and his cheating scandal.
Brady referenced Hart admitting to cheating on his then-pregnant wife during the opening part of his jokes.
"I do have a few words for you before I return to my affairs in Las Vegas," he said. "Oh wait, I'm talking about affairs in Las Vegas. Was that off? Not supposed to talk about affairs in Vegas? I think I broke another rule. [Expletive] it. I talked about it."
Brady was clapping back at Hart, who didn't go easy on the quarterback during his own roast.
"You sometimes got to [expletive] your coach. You know who else [expletive] their coach? Gisele. She [expletive] that karate man," Hart said, referencing Bundchen's relationship with her jiu-jitsu coach.
"One of the smartest quarterbacks ever played a game. How did you not see this coming? Eight [expletive] karate classes a day."
Brady might regret that one
Brady admitted following his own Netflix roast that he regretted some of the comments and jokes that were made about his family.
He could handle it, he said, but he didn't want his kids to have to deal with that. Hart and his wife will now have to go through the same.
"It was tough on my kids for sure," he said.
Brady opened up to Logan Paul on his "IMPAULSIVE" podcast.
"They're protective of their mom, of their dad, of everybody. They (were) just like, 'What was the point of that? Why did you do that?'" he recalled.
Brady doubled down on Sunday night, though.
