Kyle Tucker Sends Message After First Walk-Off Hit With Dodgers
The Los Angeles Dodgers invested $240 million on a four-year deal this offseason to land prized free agent outfielder Kyle Tucker.
Early on, Tucker's insertion into the LA lineup has been hit with some disappointing play, and manager Dave Roberts even moved Tucker around the batting order in hopes of giving him a jolt.
On Monday, Tucker had just one hit against the Miami Marlins, but it came at the best time.
The Dodgers trailed 4-2 entering the ninth, but Shohei Ohtani had an RBI double and then Tucker delivered the game-winning two-run single as Ohtani and Dalton Rushing scored.
It came with the bases loaded and two outs, and Tucker got just enough of the ball to send it into the outfield.

It was quite the moment for Tucker, and after the game, he spoke on the feelings of delivering his first walk-off hit as a Dodger.
"Any win in this game is huge. To get that walk-off right there in front of our home fans is awesome," Tucker said right before being hit with a Gatorade bath.

The Dodgers took an early 2-0 lead as Teoscar Hernandez had a two-run single, but the Marlins took the lead in the fifth and held it until the final play.
Can Kyle Tucker Turn it Around?
Tucker got off to a slow start, but Roberts moved him from second to fourth, and so far, it has worked.
In the past five games, Tucker has five hits with four runs scored, but this marked his first and second RBI during that time.
On the year, Tucker has just three home runs, so the Dodgers are still waiting for his power to break out, but maybe this walk-off hit will give him some much-needed momentum going forward.
The Dodgers continue to be right ahead of the San Diego Padres, and LA faces the Marlins on Tuesday night in the second game of the series.
