Hall of Fame Classic in KC to change format. Here are teams coming to T-Mobile Center

For the first time, the Hall of Fame Classic will be a one-day doubleheader at T-Mobile Center.

The matchups: Iowa vs. Utah State and Wichita State vs. Saint Louis.

Since the first tournament in 2001, the Hall of Fame Classic has been a four-team tournament over two days. Last season, Colorado State defeated Creighton in the championship game.

Previous winners have included Kansas, Missouri, North Carolina, Duke, Kentucky and UCLA. The Shockers won the event in 2013.

Tickets for the event, managed by the National Association of Basketball Coaches, will go on sale Sept. 10 at the T-Mobile Center box office and t-mobilecenter.com.
