Missouri’s first home men’s basketball game against Kansas since 2012 is officially a sellout, the school announced on Thursday.

The game is set for Dec. 10 at 4:15 p.m. and will be televised by ESPN. The former Big 12 rivals renewed their Border War series last season with Kansas winning 102-65 in Lawrence.

The series is set for six years. After next week’s game, additional contests will be played on campus sites for the next two years, with the final two games of the six-date series at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City.

Kansas is ranked ninth and takes a 7-1 record into Thursday’s game against Seton Hall in Lawrence.

Missouri improved to 8-0 with Tuesday’s triumph at Wichita State and is receiving votes in the AP Top 25. Mizzou is one of 16 undefeated Division I teams entering Thursday’s games. The Tigers will face Southeast Missouri State on Sunday in Columbia, with a 3 p.m. tip.

Those are the last games for both teams until they meet next week.

Capacity at MIzzou Arena is 15,061.

Missouri is also offering a tailgating experience for the Kansas game: Fans can purchase tents with heaters, tables and chairs, coolers and even a TV, setting up outside Mizzou Arena. Tickets are not included in the tailgating package and must be purchased separately.
