The Kansas City Mavericks have wrapped up their 2021-22 season.

The ECHL club finished with a record of 32-33-2, missing the Kelly Cup Playoffs.

The Mavericks played host to the Wichita Thunder on Friday for their last home game of the season at Cable Dahmer Arena. The Mavs treated their fans to a victory, beating the visiting team 3-1 in Independence.

They also beat the Thunder the next night on the road, closing out their ‘21-’22 campaign with a 4-1 victory.

The Mavs will begin their 14th season in October looking to sustain that sort of success after not making the playoffs since the 2018-19 season. The 2019-20 season was canceled because of the COVID pandemic.
