The Kansas City Mavericks hockey team’s 2021-22 campaign is drawing to a close this week.

Fan Appreciation Night is Friday at Cable Dahmer Arena in Independence. Here’s a look at that, as well as what else is going on with the Mavericks of the ECHL this week.

Game Recaps

Last Wednesday, the Mavericks (30-32-2) fell to the Allen Americans 7-4. Things were looking up for the Mavs by Friday, though, as they beat the Allen Americans 3-2 in overtime. Defenseman Tommy Muck scored the game-winner.

Upcoming games

The Mavericks travel to Wichita to face off against the Thunder on Wednesday and Saturday.

On Friday, the Mavericks host the Wichita Thunder for their last home game of the season.

Fan Appreciation

The next (and last) Mavericks home game is Fan Appreciation Night on Friday against the Thunder.

The first 4,000 fans will receive a poster courtesy of Summit Litho.
