Kansas City Roos men’s basketball beats Baptist Bible, wins on back-to-back nights
After being sidelined since Dec. 22 because of COVID-19 cancellations, the Kansas City Roos men’s basketball team won games on consecutive nights Tuesday.
The Roos improved to 8-6 with a 98-57 nonconference home win over Baptist Bible College of Springfield, Missouri. On Monday night, KC beat Omaha 64-61.
Anderson Kopp led the Roos with 19 points. KC turned a 12-point halftime lead into a blowout victory, shooting 65.5% in the second half and 56.1% for the game.
The Roos return to Summit League play Saturday against Oral Roberts in a 7 p.m. tipoff at Swinney Center.
